Urgent requirement: we are hiring a protective coatings painter in Greene County, Iowa. You will work in a paint and spray workshop. Your main tasks: • Work safely from ladders, scaffolding and mobile towers • Clean brushes, rollers and spray kit with thinners after each job • Fill cracks and nail holes with filler and caulk the gaps • Hang lining paper and wallpaper, matching patterns at the seams • Carry out snagging and touch-ups before handover • Prep and prime metal, treating rust with red-oxide primer You should have: • Physically fit for standing, bending and reaching all day • 2+ years experience as a painter and decorator Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
