Join our team: concrete labourer (Scotland)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a concrete labourer in Shetland Islands, Scotland. On the job you will handle: • Load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors • Strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength • Screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls • Cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing • Float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish • Fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule You should have: • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods • 2+ years on RCC and concreting works Part-time with flexible hours. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. £2,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
