Now hiring: fusing press operator (Hawaii)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a fusing press operator in Honolulu County, Hawaii. You will be based at a textile finishing unit. Day-to-day duties: • Operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments • Give each garment a final press before packing • Keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics You should have: • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory Performance bonus on top of base pay.
