Now hiring: we are hiring a vacuum press operator in Oakland County, Michigan. You will be based at a garment factory. The role involves: • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents • Press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots • Operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments Ideal candidate: • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep Full-time with occasional weekends.
