Urgent requirement: we are hiring a hydraulic press operator in Bastrop County, Texas. The role involves: • Load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed • Punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components • Fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts • Run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely • Adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings Ideal candidate: • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses • Familiar with die setting and quick tool changes • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts 3+ years on the tools preferred.
