Now hiring: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Clay County, Iowa. You will work in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. The role involves select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel; back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise; grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish; clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding; weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through; strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal. What we are looking for: • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts.
