Vacancy available: we are hiring a bread baker in Carteret County, North Carolina. You should have: • 2+ years' experience as a baker • Able to stand for long hours in a hot kitchen • Understanding of food-safety and HACCP basics On the job you will handle: • Roll out short-crust and biscuit dough • Proof and fry doughnuts, then glaze them • Weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe • Pipe and fill cakes, pastries and cream rolls • Prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity • Decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. $5,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
