Machinist — Ards and North Down

Great opportunity: we are hiring a machinist in Ards and North Down, Northern Ireland. Day-to-day duties: • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching What we are looking for: • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams Part-time with flexible hours. Pay around £2,700 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
