Sewing machine operator — Defiance County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a sewing machine operator in Defiance County, Ohio. Requirements: • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line On the job you will handle: • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
