Toolroom milling operator • North Tyneside, England

Immediate opening: we are hiring a toolroom milling operator in North Tyneside, England. You will work at a busy machine shop. Your main tasks: • Machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing • Carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance • Set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines • Select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors • Monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters What we are looking for: • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T Overtime paid at a premium rate.
