Formwork erector wanted in Lafourche Parish

Great opportunity: we are hiring a formwork erector in Lafourche Parish, Louisiana. You will be based at a reinforced concrete building site. You should have: • 2+ years on RCC and formwork on building or infrastructure sites • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing • Hands-on with timber, plywood and system formwork Day to day you will box out openings for doors, windows and service penetrations; de-nail, clean and stack the panels for reuse; read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters; brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour; strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured; fix stop ends and kickers at the construction joints. Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Contact us to fix an interview.
