Heavy equipment operator (dozer) wanted in Richland Parish

Great opportunity: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator (dozer) in Richland Parish, Louisiana. The job is at an open-cast mine. You should have: • Safety awareness around banksmen, trucks and other plant • Knowledge of daily greasing and pre-start inspections • Good understanding of cut-and-fill and batter slopes Your main tasks: • Grease pins and bushes and check undercarriage tension daily • Push-load motor scrapers during bulk earthmoving • Follow GPS and laser grade control to hit design levels • Cut and fill ground to the levels marked on the grade stakes • Backfill trenches and foundations once services are laid Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Pay around $30 per hour, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
