You should have: • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout Day-to-day duties: • Feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts • Carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor • Adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings • Check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges • Set up and change stamping dies and tooling • Top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
