Vacancy available: gas pipeline fitter (Kentucky)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a gas pipeline fitter in Hardin County, Kentucky. You will be based in a gas distribution network. The role involves: • Lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points • Purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate • Set and adjust regulator outlet pressure with a gauge • Run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints • Install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation • Read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes What we are looking for: • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion • Own hand tools and pipe wrenches Full-time, day shift.
