Vacancy available: we are hiring a lift erector in South Central Connecticut Planning Region, Connecticut. You will be based at a shopping mall with escalators and lifts. Day to day you will replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays; mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators; run load and overload tests with test weights; rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables. You should have: • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces Part-time with flexible hours.
