Finishing presser wanted in Oconee County

Join our team: we are hiring a finishing presser in Oconee County, South Carolina. On the job you will handle: • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots Requirements: • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
