Structural MIG welder — Martin County

Join our team: we are hiring a structural MIG welder in Martin County, Texas. You will work at a pipe and tank fabrication yard. The role involves: • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing Ideal candidate: • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes 2+ years on the tools preferred. $2,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
