We are recruiting: reinforcement steel fixer (Indiana)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a reinforcement steel fixer in Sullivan County, Indiana. Day to day you will lap and splice bars to the specified lap length; form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions; tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers; keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust; bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine; install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat. You should have: • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) We offer $5,300 per month plus benefits.
