Now hiring: packaging machine operator (Alaska)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a packaging machine operator in Haines Borough, Alaska. The role involves: • Change tooling, dies and moulds during product changeovers • Run the first-off piece and check it against the drawing • Load raw material and feed stock into the machine hopper • Record output, scrap and downtime on the production sheet • Report breakdowns to the maintenance fitter Ideal candidate: • Able to stand for long hours on the shop floor • Basic record-keeping and part-counting skills • 1-2 years' experience operating production machinery 2+ years on the tools preferred. $22 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
