Vacancy available: trailer driver (Virginia)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a trailer driver in City of Chesapeake, Virginia. The job is in a refrigerated transport fleet. You should have: • Valid HGV/LGV Class 1 (C+E) licence • Minimum 2 years' long-haul experience • Good knowledge of driving-hours and tachograph rules The role involves: • Operate tail-lifts and pump trucks during loading and unloading • Carry out daily walk-around vehicle checks before setting off • Top up AdBlue and refuel at scheduled stops • Couple and uncouple the trailer and check the fifth-wheel lock • Reverse and carry out blind-side manoeuvres at loading bays • Present documents at weighbridges and check posts $2,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
