Immediate opening: we are hiring a gas pipeline fitter in Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council, England. The job is in customers' homes and kitchens. On a typical shift you will braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints; lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points; connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply; check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray; purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate. Ideal candidate: • Able to read isometric and site drawings • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders 2+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift.
