Tig welder — New Castle County

Now hiring: we are hiring a tig welder in New Castle County, Delaware. You will work in a pipe-spool fabrication yard. The role involves back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); carry out 6G pipe welds where required; set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run. You should have: • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings Overtime paid at a premium rate.
