Now hiring: vertical milling machine operator (Kentucky)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a vertical milling machine operator in Russell County, Kentucky. You will be based at an automotive components factory. On a typical shift you will mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square; deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery; set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter; measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges; machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing. Ideal candidate: • Experience on Fanuc/Siemens CNC controls • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron 2+ years on the tools preferred.
