Great opportunity: we are hiring an aluminium TIG welder in Washington County, Missouri. Day to day you will clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding; weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size; feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool; set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks; back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise. Ideal candidate: • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety We offer $5,100 per month plus benefits.
