Prep cook — Metcalfe County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a prep cook in Metcalfe County, Kentucky. Day-to-day duties: • Follow standardised recipes and stick to portion sizes • Chop, dice and portion vegetables, fish and meat • Follow cleaning schedules and wash down work surfaces • Marinate meats and prepare curries, gravies and bases • Plate and garnish dishes for a quick pass to service • Prepare the mise en place before each service Requirements: • 2+ years' experience as a cook in a busy kitchen • Able to read and follow recipes and dockets • Willing to work split shifts, weekends and public holidays Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
