Great opportunity: we are hiring a plant operator in Chippewa County, Minnesota. What we are looking for: • Knowledge of pre-start inspections and basic machine maintenance • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and noise • Able to operate excavator, loader and dozer confidently On the job you will handle: • Keep a safe distance from excavation edges and overhead lines • Level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines • Break rock and concrete with the hydraulic breaker attachment • Keep the cab clean and complete the daily machine logbook • Stockpile and spread material to the required levels Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. We offer $2,600 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
