CNC programmer-operator wanted in Allamakee County

Now hiring: we are hiring a CNC programmer-operator in Allamakee County, Iowa. You will be based in a die and mould making unit. Day to day you will measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges; machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing; hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm; read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence; monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
