Immediate opening: we are hiring a road roller operator in Hamilton County, Tennessee. The job is on an earthmoving and excavation site. On the job you will handle: • Keep the cab clean and complete the daily machine logbook • Break rock and concrete with the hydraulic breaker attachment • Stockpile and spread material to the required levels • Top up diesel, inspect hydraulic hoses for leaks and report defects • Backfill and compact soil around pipes and foundations • Level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines Requirements: • Minimum 2-3 years' experience operating earthmoving machinery • Understanding of safe digging near underground services Rotating shifts.
