UPVC door and window fabricator — Harnett County

Immediate opening: we are hiring an uPVC door and window fabricator in Harnett County, North Carolina. The job is at a uPVC door and window showroom-cum-workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Clean welded corners on a corner-cleaning machine and chisel off the weld flash • Read the cutting list and optimisation sheet and label each profile • Cut uPVC profiles to size on a double-mitre saw at 45 degrees • Cut and weld mullions and transoms into the frame • Glaze the double-glazed units, set the packers and bed the glass square You should have: • Accurate measuring and squaring to within a couple of millimetres • 2+ years' experience fabricating uPVC windows and doors • Driving licence for measure-up and site-fitting visits At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
