Now hiring: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Ramsey County, North Dakota. You will work in a food and dairy equipment factory. What we are looking for: • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through Day-to-day duties: • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. $4,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
