Vacancy available: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Denbighshire, Wales. The job is at a busy fabrication workshop. Ideal candidate: • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety On a typical shift you will run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec; feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool; keep the arc length and travel speed consistent; back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size; clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding.
