GTAW welder wanted in Victoria County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a GTAW welder in Victoria County, Texas. You will be based at a busy fabrication workshop. You should have: • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection You will clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush; tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size; select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel; run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec. Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Pay around $4,200 per month, based on your experience. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time, day shift.
