Immediate opening: we are hiring a steward in Pointe Coupee Parish, Louisiana. You will work at a busy restaurant kitchen. What we are looking for: • Basic food hygiene awareness (Level 2 certificate a plus) • Able to work fast and keep up under service pressure The role involves: • Scrub out grease traps and clear blocked drains and gullies • Scrape leftover food off plates and pre-rinse before loading • Wash chopping boards, knives and kitchen utensils • Mop the floors and wipe down kitchen surfaces and splashbacks • Clean, drain and descale the dish machine at the end of each shift • Keep the dish pit tidy, dry and slip-free throughout service Overtime paid at a premium rate.
