Marble fitter — Skagway Municipality

Immediate opening: we are hiring a marble fitter in Skagway Municipality, Alaska. You will work in a stone processing yard. Requirements: • Own hand tools an advantage • Knowledge of epoxy resin filling and colour matching • Good eye for joints, levels and overall finish You will fill cracks, chips and open veins with colour-matched epoxy resin; measure up and template countertops and floor areas before cutting; restore old marble by honing, crystallising and buffing back to finish; shape edges, bullnoses and bevels with an angle grinder and profiling wheels; lift and handle heavy slabs safely using suction lifters and trolleys; grind and hone uneven floors flat before the final polish. Full-time with occasional weekends. $3,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
