TIG welder wanted in Washington County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a TIG welder in Washington County, Pennsylvania. You will be based at a busy fabrication workshop. What we are looking for: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection You will inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut; back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise; run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec; clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding; select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel.
