Urgent requirement: concrete labourer (Indiana)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a concrete labourer in Dearborn County, Indiana. The job is on a road and bridge project. Ideal candidate: • Willing to wear safety boots, helmet and full PPE • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours The role involves: • Fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule • Mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer • Float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish • Erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour • Lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade • Set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins 5+ years on the tools preferred.
