Urgent requirement: foundry worker (Illinois)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a foundry worker in Coles County, Illinois. You will be based at an aluminium die-casting plant. Requirements: • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding On the job you will handle: • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
