QC inspector — Ascension Parish

Immediate opening: we are hiring a QC inspector in Ascension Parish, Louisiana. You will be based in a metal fabrication workshop. The role involves operate height gauges, profile projectors and coordinate measuring tools; log batch numbers, lot codes and traceability data; check visually for scratches, dents, burrs and colour variation; raise non-conformance reports and tag rejected batches; draw samples from batches according to AQL sampling plans. Ideal candidate: • Understanding of AQL sampling and tolerance limits • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T symbols • Confident using vernier callipers, micrometers and gauges Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
