Vacancy available: formwork carpenter (North Carolina)

Join our team: we are hiring a formwork carpenter in Craven County, North Carolina. You will be based on a metro and tunnel project. Day to day you will set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking; seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss; watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement; apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting; assemble and align system formwork panels (Doka, Peri, MIVAN); repair damaged plywood and timber shutters. Ideal candidate: • Able to read formwork and structural drawings • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long shifts • Confident working at height on scaffold and decking At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
