Urgent requirement: fabricator-welder (Kansas)

Join our team: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Lane County, Kansas. The job is at a pipe and tank fabrication yard. You should have: • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Willing to work shifts and overtime The role involves bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding; maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose; tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing; change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch; clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead; set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator. At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
