Immediate opening: we are hiring a fettler in Benson County, North Dakota. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling Day to day you will make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities; cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch; operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant; assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects. 6+ years on the tools preferred.
