The role involves: • Sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone • Stuff and link fresh sausages with casings • Run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone • Weigh, price and label cuts for the display case • Monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain • Break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts What we are looking for: • Food hygiene / HACCP certificate • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
