Urgent requirement: we are hiring a car painter in Gibson County, Indiana. Requirements: • Good eye for colour matching and blending • Able to mix paint by weight on a scale • 2+ years' experience in automotive refinishing Day-to-day duties: • Apply primer, base coat and clear coat with an HVLP spray gun • Apply body filler and block-sand to a smooth contour • Check the colour match under booth lights against the maker's swatch • Compound and polish the cured finish to a high gloss • Mix two-pack (2K) clear coat with hardener in the correct ratio • Prime and seal bare metal to stop rust 2+ years on the tools preferred.
