Dish pit attendant — Sedgwick County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a dish pit attendant in Sedgwick County, Colorado. You will be based in a hotel kitchen. Your main tasks: • Empty bins, take out the rubbish and break down cardboard • Help unload deliveries and store stock in the dry store and cold room • Load and run the commercial dishwashing machine through wash cycles • Hand-wash pots, pans and trays using the three-sink wash-rinse-sanitise method • Sort, dry and return clean plates and bowls to the kitchen stations • Wash chopping boards, knives and kitchen utensils You should have: • Able to work fast and keep up under service pressure • Good teamwork with chefs and floor staff • Careful handling of cleaning chemicals and degreasers $21 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
