Great opportunity: gantry crane operator (Kentucky)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a gantry crane operator in Taylor County, Kentucky. Your main tasks: • Follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger • Help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone • Climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins • Rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams • Park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift • Grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands You should have: • Strong attention to safety and load limits • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts Six days a week, one day off.
