Aluminium tig welder wanted in Rowan County

Join our team: we are hiring an aluminium tig welder in Rowan County, North Carolina. The role involves grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper; feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle; back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions; read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters; control heat input so thin sheet does not warp. You should have: • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) 4+ years on the tools preferred.
