Great opportunity: concrete labourer (Virginia)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a concrete labourer in Southampton County, Virginia. The role involves load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors; discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms; lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade; screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls; erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour; carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab. Requirements: • 2+ years on RCC and concreting works • Willing to wear safety boots, helmet and full PPE • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
