Rebar installer • Dandume, Katsina State

Great opportunity: we are hiring a rebar installer in Dandume, Katsina State. You will be based on a busy residential building site. Day to day you will fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings; keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust; place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing; cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder; form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions; set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift. You should have: • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
