Steel erection rigger — Saint Clair County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a steel erection rigger in Saint Clair County, Michigan. The job is at a busy construction site. What we are looking for: • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather Your main tasks: • Read lift plans and method statements before starting • Take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings • Secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use 3+ years on the tools preferred.
