Gas meter installer wanted in Douglas County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a gas meter installer in Douglas County, Kansas. You will work at a boiler and appliance service centre. Requirements: • Own hand tools and pipe wrenches • Valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration • 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations On the job you will handle: • Run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints • Test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser • Lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points • Install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves Performance bonus on top of base pay.
